The Baby Name List – please contribute!
What we like: names that are familiar but not too trendy. Boys names that work as girl names. Anything that sounds good with Evang. First and Middle names whose initials spell out something cool (example: Adam Christian Evang = A.C.E.). Nothing that we’ve already named one of our pets: Nina, June, Eleanor, Maggie. Nothing already taken by friends or family: Madeline, Amy, Alissa, etc…
What we have so far:

– Natalie (an exception to the not too trendy requirement)

Funny thing…when Adam was born, I couldn’t think of one girl’s name I really liked…except the middle name was going to be Joy…still thinking I like that…

CONGRATS to you both!! I’ll be praying for you both & little girl too. So here is my name contribution. It just popped into my head: Tristin. I like Lyla too. It reminds me of Lylacs. Very girly.

I think everyone is in agreement that Joy will probably not be used as a middle name. Sorry.

| Posted 14 years, 10 months agoI like Sidney. That’s fun and classic. I don’t like Lena, Cameron, or the other boy name. What about Lilly? I love that name! But it can’t be Grace or Rachel. Christina and I have already reserved those!

Chase, Lily is already taken by one of Katy’s nieces so it is out of the running. Apparently though you are planning on having 2 more girls, no boys though š
Just in case anyone was wondering and since Chase already set reserve rights we’ve got dibs on Isaiah for a boy, you know in case anyone was thinking of using it š

| Posted 14 years, 10 months agoI like the name Natalie… so much so that’s what I named my daughter. Explaining to the now 6 year old that she was named after an actress from a Star Wars movie was difficult, at first.
Congrats on baby! When’s the due date? My hope is that you have an on-time arrival. Both my children were tardy, which made for one unhappy spouse.
| Posted 14 years, 10 months agoAs you have probably figured out by now – you will Never make everyone happy. Everyone has lots of opinions and thoughts on names………. You can’t name her Lyla because I have a friend named that. haha It took us 3 days to name Kyle. I have never regretted it once. I got the name Kelsi from YOUR name list Katy. That was my vote. Keep looking and looking and it will happen. I love Alex Mark Younbauer (AMY) and Macy (Mark, Alex, Carla Youngbauer) How about Kae (Katy, Adam, Evang). I vote for Sydney, but I am old. Have fun!!

| Posted 14 years, 10 months agoHey, so one of my best friend’s just had a baby, and when I was in Target buying their newborn daughter a gift, a lady started asking who had the baby, yada yada yada…anyways, we got to talking about the name, and she mentioned the name Kennedy for a girl. I thought that was pretty cool! Kennedy Evang…kinda flows nicely!! What do you think?

Instead she suggested Bennett and said she liked that better. I didn’t mind it but Kennedy was way better, I’m gonna have to take away her crazy pills.

and, as mentioned before, I like Bennett. Unique, adorable. And when people shorten it to Benny (inevitable) it would still be pretty cute
However, I am definitely in the minority on this one.
